This Privacy Policy explains how The Hero App (“The Hero App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information through gettheheroapp.com and related public marketing pages. The customer and technician applications are still in development. A separate policy may apply when those services launch.

This policy applies when you browse our public website, join the early-access waitlist, submit a contact form, or communicate with us about pilot, partnership, customer, or technician opportunities.

- Contact details such as your name, email address, and optional phone number.
- Your relationship to The Hero App, such as homeowner, technician, technician business, partner, or media contact.
- Optional city, postal code, service interest, subject, message, and other details you choose to provide.
- Your consent choice and the date, source, and version of the notice associated with that choice.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting and security providers may process limited technical information necessary to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, device and browser type, requested pages, timestamps, diagnostic events, and security signals. We do not currently use advertising cookies or behavioural advertising on this site.
Please do not submit payment information, government identifiers, medical information, passwords, or other sensitive information through the public forms.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to questions and requested communications.
- Manage early-access interest and potential pilot participation.
- Classify and display enquiries as leads in our restricted administrative systems.
- Understand interest by audience, service category, and general area.
- Send launch, pilot, and product communications when you have agreed to receive them.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
- Meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
We will seek additional consent before using personal information for a materially different purpose unless otherwise permitted or required by law.

The public website is not directed to children under 13, and early-access registration is intended for adults. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children through these forms.

We may update this policy as the website and services develop. We will post the revised version here and change the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through other appropriate means.
